FABRICATION, MACHINING, ASSEMBLY & TESTING

BUILDING AND QUALIFYING PARTS, ASSEMBLIES, AND SYSTEMS TO SPECIFICATION

Prototypes and light-production quantities of parts CNC machined directly from CAD files, drawings or made manually; Assembly of COTS and custom devices and systems; testing integrated with design to ensure on-spec and optimal performance.

Fabrication / Machining

The prototyping of product designs when performed during the design process routinely yields improved part quality, reliability and profitability. By designing for manufacturing (DFM), we integrate this function by using an array of conventional and CNC machine tools, and offer in-house capabilities and vendor relationships through which to manage production needs whether for single-part or multiple-component systems.

Assembly / Systems

Finished products often require fastening via brazing, welding or mechanical attachment. By designing for assembly (DFA) considering ease of assembly, the complexity of your product’s assembly process will be reduced through parts-count reduction and realized by increased benefit to product profitability. We offer device and system assembly services, and have in-house TIG welding and mechanical attachment capabilities to complement brazing vendor relationships through which to manage your products’ assembly needs, whether for single-part or multiple-component systems.

Performance Verification / Testing

In order to ensure the desired/specified function of a device design, testing of a new or improved product is required in advance of product release. Following prototype and first-article testing, design changes can be made and repeated resulting in enhanced performance until the intended function is achieved. By combining this function with the design and build process, the development cycle is greatly reduced and realized by increased benefit to product profitability. We offer device and system testing services, integrated with our product design/development process.
